Micro drills, up to a diameter of 2 mm, are classified in the category of micro drills. ADO-Micro is not just a dimensional expansion of the ADO series, as they are geometrically designed differently, allowing drilling of stainless steel, covered by ADO-SUS drills.\\n\\n \\n\\nADO-Micro drills are available for drilling depths of 2D, 5D, 12D, 20D, and 30D. The introductory part of the ADO-Micro drill has a double guiding edge, contributing to better drill directionality. The borehole with a double guiding edge is flatter and smoother than with drills with a single guiding edge. After the introductory part of the drill, the back guiding edge is ground down, facilitating the removal of micro chips from that area. Micro chips tend to accumulate quickly around the periphery at small diameters, causing the drill to suddenly break.\\n\\n \\n\\nThe drill has enlarged channels for cooling-lubricant liquid. Cooling efficiency has been enhanced by a hollow rear part of the stem, which transitions into cooling channels. This has increased the flow rate by up to 40%. Greater flow of the cooling liquid significantly aids in effectively removing chips from the borehole and improves cooling at the cutting edge. The cutting edges are very sharp, resulting in fewer burrs forming at the entry and exit of the borehole compared to regular drills. Short and curled chips of uniform lengths are produced during drilling. They are coated with the IchAda coating, which is very smooth and wear-resistant. All of this contributes to process stability and high efficiency in drilling small holes.\\n\\n \\n\\nWith competitive drills, deep holes are typically drilled gradually in multiple passes, as each time the stuck chips are removed upon drill retrieval. However, OSG has achieved drilling the entire depth in one pass with the development of ADO-Micro. This has reduced the drilling time for deep holes by up to 90%. Therefore, the use of Ado-Micro drills is highly cost-effective.\\n\\n \\n\\nDue to the extremely thin cooling channels, it is recommended to use a filter for the cooling-lubricant liquid (approximately 3 \u03bcm to 5 \u03bcm) to prevent channel blockage. For depths of 12D, 20D, 30D, the use of ADO-Micro 2D pilot drill is recommended, with a 140\u00b0 tip angle and a diameter tolerance of +0.001\/+0.010. Other lengths have a diameter tolerance of 0\/-0.009.\\n\\n \\n\\nADO Micro is used for drilling carbon, alloy, and stainless steel, gray and nodular cast iron, Al-alloys, and Ti-alloys.
