New grade AC5000S for machining exotic materials has doubled durability.

Sumitomo has introduced a new series of grade AC5000S for machining materials in the ISO-S group or exotic materials such as Inconel and Hastelloy. By combining the new Absotech Bronze coating and a special substrate sintering process, they have achieved unparalleled wear resistance.

Quality **AC5015S** is the first choice for general machining of Ni- and Ti-alloys. It has a durability that is twice as long as conventional qualities.

For rough machining and interrupted cutting, **AC5025S** is intended. It has 20% greater toughness of the substrate and 1.5 times greater resistance to chipping and crater wear.

If even greater toughness is required during machining, you can also use the qualities AC1030U in the G-grade and AC6040M in the M-grade.

The AC5000S series ensures very stable processing of heat-resistant materials, which is crucial in serial production.
