New series of GROB Access 5-axis machining centers

GROB has recently introduced the Access series with two universal and flexible models, the G350a and G550. They enable an economical entry into the world of unique GROB technology. They offer customers from demanding environments practically unlimited possibilities of use, exceptional reliability, productivity, and recognized high quality.

The G350a and G550a models offer a variety of advantages that users of GROB machines are already familiar with from the G-series. Thanks to the renowned five-axis technology of GROB, the new universal machining centers ensure the best processing quality in single and series production. The basic models allow for modular expansions and the installation of automation systems.

GROB highlights the fast return on investment in the Access series of machines. The high availability of machines leads to significantly lower operating costs. Grob machining centers are therefore an excellent solution for manufacturers of components in the automotive industry, machinery construction, tool shops, medicine, and elsewhere.

In response to individual challenges and detailed requirements from various projects, GROB offers various packages of additional equipment. In addition to the basic machine, which can be equipped with a system for extracting oil mist from the workspace and automatic doors, customers can choose from various tool magazine sizes, systems for supplying cooling-lubricating fluid, tool measurements, programming solutions, and other additional equipment.

The range of solutions for automating the G350a and G550a machines is impressive. The GROB PSS-R rotary pallet system allows enough space for 15 smaller pallets. The cell thus has greater flexibility and availability, as the machine operates continuously even at night and on weekends. Automation and the machine itself are centrally controlled via the Pilot4 interface on Siemens or Heidenhain controls and enable entry into 4.0 technology.
